Kings Arms Hotel

A lovely room above a tavern. Check-in was smooth, and everything was as described. One train stop from Stansted airport. Thoughful touches like robes and slippers, a great meal downstairs, and a convenience store next door. Bed was very comfortable and the bottles of water in the refrigerator and couple of small snacks were much appreciated. We enjoyed our stay, Thank you!

Needed a place to stay close to Stansted Airport. We chose this as it was only a 12 minute drive away. Good, friendly small place (pub with rooms) and with a very well equipped, good quality and comfortable room. Enjoyed a good value meal in the evening. Had private parking at no charge.

We stayed here for only one night due to a flight cancellation. The staff were so accommodating, kind and welcoming towards us at a pretty stressful time - in particular Corey who done everything he could to make our stay as fab as possible. We also had the joy of meeting the landlords of the rooms who were so lovely and chatty also. The hotel is in such a lovely location in a great village outside London. The food and wine was exceptional and a really lovely place to sit in the sun in the garden.

I liked the size of the room, the shelving space, the comfort of the bed, the general cosiness of the room. There is a mini fridge with fresh milk for tea, lots of tea, coffee available. My room was surprisingly calm in spite of being on the round about. I also liked the pub downstairs. Lovely atmosphere.
